He doesn't want to be together but act together, help?

My ex, is confusing me, we just broke up and he wants to be friends but still want to take care of me and make me happy and be there for me, which friends don't do... he said he still has feelings for me, and that he loves me but not at the same way......

and we might become friends with benifits which I thinj is a bad idea, weve been together for a year and 5 months im really confuse cause he doesnt want me as a girlfriend but doesnt want to lose me as a friend but his gna act as a boyfriend to me! help!

my boyfriend tried to do that sh!+ and I was like hell nooo
and then hes like lets be together again
its just your boyfriend cant live without u
so just leave and hell come back as your boyfriend
bt if you don't want that take advantage of him doin what hes doin
get a boyfriend bt still keep that guy ther to do what you want
