I got hit in the face with a ball and now everyone's laughing at me

LOL so today at school I was in gym and we were playing kick ball. So when it was my turn I kicked the ball and made it to first base ... When some person tried to get me out and hit me right on the face... I was fine I didn't cry or anything but EVERY...

ONE was laughing. There are like 40 people in my gym class an I'm in the 9 th grade.
how do I get over it. I'm trying to but its kind of hard to for get it...

whenever we play volleyball, im BOUND to get hit in the face.
like it ALWAYS happens, its kind of expected now
if someone brings it up, just laugh with them, just imagine someone else getting hit with that ball, and just laugh it off.
the longer you feel embarrased the longer itll be funny to everyone else.

I was on a softball team and I hit the ball and it popped straight up well I thought it went behind but instead it cam straight down and hit me in the eye, I had a purple eye but lucky me since I a girl I can wear makeup so I wore purple eyeshadow until it was gone lol at first they was all freakin out bu tafter I reassured them I was ok they thought it was funny and started laughin and my coch didn keep it quite either lol but eventually they stopped and got over it

Just don't think about it. It will blow over in about a day or two.
