Why does high school have to be so hard?

why does high school have to be so hard I've already lost a friend this year and guess what im only a freshman and want to quit high school any advice.

Well I'm only in 8th grade but I will try to help. I'v lost a few friend but not because of fighting, they died in car accadents. Its hard when you lose friends but you have to be strong...My old best friends hate me now because something I didnt do and they are so rude to me. You just kinda have to get over it. Dont quit high school. Freshman yr may not be that much fun but its only because your new at it. My best friend is a sophmore and she said that freshman yr is rele hard. But once you get the hang of it its rele fun just dont drop out. You will ruin your life and not be able to get a job. You wont be able to own your own home eather. Just stay in school and try to enjoy at least untill your out of high school...Please...dont throw your life away. Life is too shoet.

Well I'm a Junior. 16. And I like High School, over the years I have made so many cool friends that I love to hang out with.

Freahman year is the toughest! I don't know why exactly but it always seems the hardest, but you will take a liking to High School once you get older, you get to take better and funner classes, make new friends, and your almost done with it! Lol.

I sue to despise school. I reallt hated it when I was a freshman. It just sucked... but now I love it! There are some things I don't love, but hey you can't love everything about it. Just hang in there and next year will get better! I'm sure of it.

A friend of mine and I got into an argument twice this year, and to be honest I thought our friendship was over the first time. But all you have to do is talk it out, and understand eachother. We realized we were best buds for a long time... so why would we waste all of those memories over a few misunderstandings? That's dumb we thought, so we made up. I don't know what your situation is with your friend but just talk to other people and make a few new ones.

That's what I meant.

High School is hard because its a world of its own - things that shouldn't be, and don't have a place in the real world, somehow exist in High School. But High School doesn't last forever (unless you are like me, and work at a High School, in which case it does).

its preperation for college which will also be hard.

High school isn't that bad, really. By American standards, I think I would be in middle school, so I don't know. If you've lost friends because of fighting, then make new ones by socializing. Or try to make friends with the old one again. If you are having trouble with the work itself, make a study plan, concentrate on your work. Please don't drop out. Education is one of the most important things in life, and it is a shame to miss out on it.
