How would i tell my mom i think i have a yeast infection?

I think I have a yeast infection but im not so sure. how does any body no? it itches a lot and sometimes burns when I pee. how can I tell my mom that? we dont usually talk about this kinda stuff or any thing so I dont want it to be akward I no I need to...

tell her incase its something more but how??? and im not sure if I even have one...its also like really dry down there and I don't know what to do! do you think I have one...I have a little white pusy stuff but I don't know if thats normal or not! help me!!!

You could try buying something at the drugstore for that to try first...but if it's not gone within a week you will have to see a doctor. At which time you may have to tell Mom.

Sounds like a yeast infection to me. It could also be a urinary tract infection if it burns when you pee. Just talk to your mom. No doubt your mom has had a few yeast infections before, all women get them at some point in their lives.
Just tell her, listen, I think I need to go to the doctor because it really burns when I pee and it itches like crazy down there.

DO NOT take the first advice.
DONT buy over the counter medicine for a yeast infection if it is your first infection.Because you don't know for sure if thats what it is,an if your instincts are wrong,you could cause more problems down the road.

I had a similar problem not too long ago.Just tell your mom that you think there may be somehting wrong down there,and youd like to get checked out.
if you absoloutely do not want her to know,you can have her make you a doctors appointment,and not tell her why.It is your right to keep it form her if you wish.

But honestly,Im sure she;s had a yeast infection before,and I'd just tell her youd like to see a doctor about it.

I had the same problem.
and I didnt know to tell my mom or not.
but I did.
and she told me what to do,
and got me this stuff that really helped and made it go away.
it was such a relief..
it was so irritating and it was so easily fixed.
tell her..
I promise it's a lot better than dealing with it yourself.

I am 14 years old and I had a yeast infection last year. I was really embarrassed to tell my mom, so I told my sister. Of course, my sister told my mom and then my mom talked to me about it. It was weird at first but it really is no big deal.

Your mom will probably take you to the doctor, who will ask you for a urine sample and they might take a look down there. I'm not going to lie that it is a little awkward when the doctor looks down there, but my doctor made it really quick. And before I knew it, it was over.

My doctor prescribed me a prescription pill that got rid of my yeast infection within 2 weeks.

I think I have another yeast infection now, and I'm going to have to do the same awkward thing your going to have to do.

But don't worry! It isn't nearly as bad as you think!
