How to watch videos not from youtube on an ipod touch?

I was trying to watch videos from like ebaums world and other sites other than youtube on my ipod touch but all that would show up was a little cube with a question mark in the middle..
do I need to download an application or sumthing or what do I have...

to do??

If the videos aren't in the right format (eg, flash) then you won't be able to view them on an ipod touch. For the relevant site (eg, ebaums world) find out what encoding they use on their site, and then find out how to install media player on your ipod touch.

Unfortunately you can't install any sort of media player, or flash plug-in player onto your iPod Touch because the iPod doesn't allow it. sad
