How to view external hard drive on windows xp?

scary me. Asked by natatos 5 months ago, 1 answer.

I pluged my external hard drive that I use on my MacBook into my moms windows computer so I could put some files on to it. when I first pluged it in it said external HDD found but when I went to my computer to open it, it's name wasn't there so I checked...

the removable drives and the computer said that there was nothing pluged into them. So where did the drive go and how can I open it.

You can try the long way through Windows Explorer. If you open Windows explorer and go to My Computer you should see a list of all external and internal drives for your computer.
