When writing and essay and you have to use numbers, should you write them out as numbers or words?
Like which one would I use (example):
1) The woman had 6 cats, and 2 dogs.

Yup the people are right about the number 10. Anything under it should be spelled out and anything over it can be done as digits (this is according to Associated Press style).
