Well, I used to pitch fast-pitch for my high school. I would practice against a brick wall, drawing in the strike zone with chalk (you don't really have to do the chalk). That was good practice. One of the main things about pitching fast-pitch is your attitude. You've got to keep your cool. There's a lot of pressure on the pitcher because all eyes are on you, and you can make or break the game. If you are confident, and focused, you'll pitch well. If you are too worried about what everyone is saying or thinking or the outcome of the game, you'll mess up. Keep your cool. And develop a trusting relationship with your catcher...that's really important.
