How to pay attention when bored?!

I always get really bored in class and then I stop paying attention (not on purpose) Does anyone have tips on staying focused and remembering info in class?

before going to class, make sure you eat a proper healthy breakfast. eat the proper brain food. sometimes the problem is you have no idea what the teacher is talking about. find out what the teacher will be teaching and read the material before the lecture. that way you'll be able to understand and be less bored; you can relate easier. make sure you can ample sleep as well.

during class, have a bottle of water with you. I guess if your really falling asleep, have a short 2-4 minute break. go to the washroom and splash your face with freezing water. if your allowed have some small snacks with you during class, some nuts, etc.
some people drink coffee or tea for the caffeine.

write notes, ask questions, sit in front of the class, and good luck.

write notes on what the teacher is saying and DONT stop

do anything you want in class, just keep your ears with the teacher... listen to every single word... don't let your ears miss ONE word!! that's what I do... then the teacher asks me a Q after the lesson (expecting me NOT to know the answer) but I always disappoint her by knowing the answers! and HEY! it feels so good to make your teacher turn red sometimes... lol that's me, I dunno bout u... hehe don't get me wrong but I just feel happy when it happens, some teachers don't deserve it though, lol but it works (the ears thingy)
and I also write notes, with scribbles around them (I draw nice stuff around 'em) or just draw things that would remind you of the lesson later on;;... do anything fun but useful at the same time...
