Anybody know of any good sleeping pills that will make you sleep all the way through the night. I think my wife has tried just about everything. We would go to the doctor, but don't have the money for prescription medicane right now. I just need something that would knock her out so that nothing would bother her cause when she can't sleep, I can't sleep. She keeps me awake and starts talking to me when she can't sleep so that means I guess that I get to get up and listen to her talk until she falls back asleep. I would like to have a good night sleep one of these days, so any suggestions would be a help.

Cracker:

Tilo tea does work but may not be enough in difficult cases.
The natural hormone Maltonin works great for many people.
Pharmaceuticals will cause dependency and make her situation worse over the long run.
Exercising late in the day can cause insomnia.
Taking a warm bath before bed may help.

Chinese herbs are safe (when properly prescribed) and potent..
The best is to get a individualized diagnosis and prescription by a qualified practitioner.
This can be rather expensive.
Your other option, and something that I have seen work rather well, is 'an shui wan.'
pills, made from chinese herbs. She should not take these if she currently has a flu, cold, or other acute illness.

she needs to take way more than what is written on the bottle. Have her take 8 (tiny) pills and if that is not enough she can take more.

There are many website that sell an shui wan below is one option.

best wishes!

I often have insomnia and have actually seen a psychiatrist for it. The pills I was prescribed actually made it worse. (nightmares, overthinking and analysing my day ect..)

So I tried other things that I find actually do help.

Camomille tea - very sweet and soothing tea. It actually does make me sleepy.

Take a hot hot bath - Raising your body temp makes you sluggish

Get rid of all the lights - turn the alarm clock around (obsessing about the time will keep her up) and cover any little blinking lights (like to the vcr, cell phone charger ect...)

Soft music - Now my husband can't stand it but he often comes to bed later than me and he'll quietly turn it off and I'll be asleep.

Fresh sheets - whether they were actually washed or just sprayed with something... scents can help relax her.

Caffiene - don't consume caffiene for 4 hours before bedtime

Eating - Don't eat a whole lot before bed (digesting can keep you up)

Milk - personally I hate milk but people say a glass of warm milk helps

Warm muscular body - Does wonders when one is next to you!

Those are a few things that help me

I have seen, used, and heard great things about Melatonin...it is a natural subtance that the body already contains...so it isnt bad for you... im sure someone will enventually say it is bad...but it is cheap and you can buy it at most grocery stores and places like Walgreens and Kroger..it is also even in the vitamin department at walmart.
Along with that I would drink a glass of herbal tea called Sleepy Time Tea it helps to relax and sooths...it also works..
Hope you find something soon...let me know what eventually works...
Try all herbal or safe self remedies beofre going prescription due to so many side effects and habits that can form...catch some ZZZ
