How to make a mixed cd?

I want to give one of my friends a mixed CD. I don't know how to make it. So if you could, please tell me from buying a CD to finishing it.

Well first you can buy a CD at any wal-mart or department store. You'll want to look for CD-R's, they usually come in packs. In Windows Media Player, you can put your CD in the drive, go to 'burn', and pick out songs. From there you click on 'start burn' and wait. The CD will eject when it is done. Have fun!

Well you have to buy blank c.ds but you can get those pretty cheap if you buy em in bulk, I got a hundred for five dollars at K-mart, then you insert a blank c.d in your computer and most computers will give you the different options it has to burn music onto the blank c.d. I use windows media player its simple. You just have to have music on your computer already to put on the blank c.d.
