Okay my father bought me a guitar when I was 12.It wasn't my birthday he just came home carrying a brand new one and said...Here you gou go!.It's a bit puzzling for me because I had to start from zero.And asked my neighbours to show me a few basics and...
bought books on how to play and Guitar CD's.It took me a good year to actually play one good song.
I live close to the beach and I carry my guitar to an isolated place and sit down and play.I don't write down the song.I just find a melody and sing my heart out.And it's very passionate from the heart.
The problem is when my family or my friends see the guitar and ask me to play and sing for them.I immediately feel nervous.And I keep telling them I can't I play I can't play I'm still learning. I feel so shy to let people hear me play or sing.I dont want to be a singer or a guitarist.I just want to watch the ocean and play.
Can you help me find ways of not being afraid to let people hear me sing and play my guitar?What can make me calm down or relax and confident?
