How to improve my spoken english?

I'm a chinese. I arrived in America a few monthes ago. My spoken and listening English is poor. How to improve my spoken English?

well you type it good..and I thinks its awsome you want to learn there are a lot of people who come to the us and dont try to learn english...so congrats

Its no big dear brother, dont worry you can improve upon it in time, start reading newspapers and novels, if you can, please watch English movies and listen to music when you do that try to catch up with the lyric.

Another important thing is to develop the confidence thats you start speaking, whatever knowledge you have, it will make you over come the fear of being wrong and etc...

I can write English. I have been learning English for a long time. However the key here is I don't listen clear the others. I don't catch up with the others when they speak, in spite of they speak slowly.

Well:
1. Read English books/magazines and listen to English music a lot.
2. Get out and about with English people... Get used to hearing them speak at their normal pace.
3. Watch English films and try to understand what they're saying.
