How can I have a tiny waist?

Alright, so this is going to be weird but..

I started getting mental treatment for annorexia about 2 months ago… I weighed about 110-112 pounds, at 5”7… it might not sound that drastic to you, but parents seemed to think so. I had every side effect happening, and I pretty much knew perfectly well that I had an eating disorder.

I’m usually around 112-115 now, cause my weight fluxuates. It’s so hard for me to gain weight, because I get so pissed off or I cry if I eat until I’m full, because my stomach bloats out and I feel so stuffed and fat. Right before I got treatment, I had a really skinny waist because I only ate one meal a day, and now my stomach has a little bit of a bump on the lower-abs region. I’d really like to know how to have a skinny waist again, but I want to know how to work out and/or which foods I should be eating.

I also have love handles, but I have always had those, because it’s how my bones are shaped. If there was a way I could have wider hips (I have boy hips), or I could somehow be curvy with a tiny waist, then PLEASE HELP.

do crunches. they may start to hurt but that means that it’s starting to work. it may take a while though cause it’s not easy 2 lose weight in such little time. good luck!!

We can’t all have the perfect body, and there is no reason why we should. People have different preferences, and even define “the perfect body” in different ways. It would be awfully boring if we all looked the same though.

It sounds like your body is fine. It really does not sound like you should be worrying about your waist or hips, other than maybe just putting on a couple of pounds in general.

Keeping eating healthy food.

That’s great that you’re getting therapy. Keep that up.

I feel for you, seriously. You’re not well. Eat 5-6 small meals/snacks a day, this speeds up your metabolism and helps you lose unwanted fat, like in your lower abs region. Also perfect if you don’t like to stuff yourself. A tin of soup or a small bowl of food every 2-4 hours would be good. Eat fruit in between these meals too. Too many crunches just make you have a completely straight waist, boring! Tocreate the illusion of curvier hips, wear cinch belts and pencil skirts. You’re slim, girl, you can get away with it!

Working out … Try weight training with very light weights. To build muscle and get those curvy hips and round backside, do squats. They make a world of difference. Don’t go too hard, you sound quite vunerable at the moment. Go jogging, then build up to interval training. And most of all, a healthy mind is the most important thing. If none of this works, check out the styles of Kate Moss or Keira Knightley. Both slim, both elegant, both icons. If you want to go for a more classic look, look at Audrey Hepburn. She was almost exactly the same weight as you and the most beautiful woman in the world.

Chin up! :)
