How to get your legs smooth

Asked by bonitasonyadore94 about 1 year ago, 9 answers.

I shave my legs but they have like really obvious razor bumps and stuff.
I've tried Nair, but it doesn't work.

And my mom doesn't know I shave. So, what can I do to get rid of these bumps without her knowing about it?

I used to get those too, for me they went away over time... and yea, nair actually took a layer of skin off of me after maybe 2 mins, hope it works for other people.

Keep shaving they go away with time.
use lotion. try to find an leg exfoliator like
'Sally Hansen Exfoliating Leg Polisher'
I got it from the dollar store. it actualy works!

let it go away and dont scratch them. next time...
-before you shave mix together olive oil and salt and massage it on for like 3 minutes straight each leg.
- shave with cold water in a clean tub
- after your done rub ice on your legs
- wear long pants for the next day or 2

you cant get rid of the bumps. you have to wait till they go away. then there is some stuff you can find at the store, try walmart and its a type of wax that you can use, but I forgot what it was called.

Veet works wonders! It has moisturizers in them so your legs won't dry out. Its actually a hair removing lotion comparable to Nair, but better. It removes hair faster (so you won't get caught since you're not allowed), it doesn't smell bad or strong, and no bumps! If you prefer using a razor though, I would suggest reading the labels first to see if they contain moisturizers first because thats what makes and keeps your legs smooth. Even if they contain moisturizers, still use a good creamy lotion after shaving.

They do NOT go away in time. I've been shaving for about a yr. maybe more and I started getting them like 2 weeks after I started shaving. So no, they're not going' away.

An yeah, my mom will freak.
She cried when I got my period for God's sake!!

My period.
Which she knew I was going to get sooner or later.
So yeah, I think she'd cry about this too.

And I do use lotion. Nothing works.

Am I just doomed with shaving?

well the bst way that I know that has helped me was that I soak my legs in warm water for about 5-10 mintues and then shave them. this way your legs will look smoother and not have many of those irritating bumps. =)
