How to get rid of antivirus 2009!

Why every time I open my browser, the Antivirus 2009 always appear on the second tab and order me that it is recommended to install their software for the reason that my pc is infected with malicious program, then they they automatically scanned my pc...

and said, they detected dangerous spyware. What do you think? It's true?(How come it is true!???)

 
If you have an anti-virus program and an anti-spyware program, run them. It sounds like it is a virus or spyware problem.

My son got the same thing 10 days ago. I think it's a virus. But I'm not in his area now so I don't know.

yeah it will be some form of spyware, they want you to install their software, which of course will have an expiry date on, so you will probably get 30days of it.

download spybot search and destroy - its free and will help.
also download avg free - again, free and pretty reliable.

ITS A VIRUS!!! Its a very dangerous one actually!! I had it...untill I got this site (god bless it) do as the instructions says!!! It works and it awesome!!!

I agree, follow sally_91s instructions. A while ago I was downloading some stuff and I ended up with XP Antivirus - Not associated with Microsoft Windows. That thing was such a pain and I could not remove it, even with Spyboy, special programs, and hacking into my registry to try and get rid of it. Had to wipe out the computer and start fresh!

I have to say this took less than 2 minutes and it got it off. thanks a lot my eset virus scanner found like 2 of them and that was all. when I seen the picture of what that want to be antivirus 2009 looked like I knew it was the same and again I say thanks so much.

Beware! I was infected with this malware and tried several free solutions only to be duped out of $39.95 when I was told I was being billed $9.95! Too bad, because STOPZilla is easy to use and fixed the problem. Needless to say I will never use this product again.
