How to get movies on an ipod?

It happened once. Randomly/Accidentally. I ended up downloading an Alexisonfire video(thought it was the song) on limewire, and it actually worked on my iPod. Ever since. I've been trying to download and put other videos on it. But it says '___ cannot be played on this iPod'. Something along those lines..

Do you know how to get working videos put onto an iPod?

Thankyou

Have you tried using iTunes software? I use it for mine but I think there's an alternative software available called 'Floola' which can sync your music, vids, etc. and it's free. Download.com has a lot of software reviews and tips/guides which can also help you. I'm sure Apple puts restrictions on the iPod which can allow only certain types of media to be synced but there are ways to get around it (Floola is one). Hope this helps some!

Yeah thanks a lot. I will definetly check out what you've advised
But yeah Apple probably does have something that blocks other videos from being put on..
Thankgod we're able to download music from limewire to put on our iPod though.

iPod accepts only MP4 format video, If your video is MP4 video, just open iTunes and click 'File' to add your videos music to iTunes library. then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click 'Movies'tab, check the videos you want to sync and click 'Apply', done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert video to ipod with quite fast conversion speed and excellent output quality, that's really good for me, you can free download it here:
