when you go out to the store and she see somethng she want tell her she has to give the lady/guy the paci for the new toy or wateva it maybe thats what we did to get my brother off...Or you may have to just take it and let her cry for it..when she cry for it give her some of her fav candy, food, snack, icecream wateva...hope this help
my little cousin went through the same thing she just got of the pacifier last year and she is 6 now. Her mother didn't do a lot because they justworship her every command. So when I came over I would hide them and they didn't want to buy more. When I came over again I put them in my bag and took them to my house to throw away. Then I gave her a lot of candy and she forgot all about it.
So today is day one without the pasifier. She went to the doctor today for flu shot adn for other shots and the doctor took it cause my daughter was already pissed off so she said today would be the BEST day to take her off of it, Its working up till now. She wont go to bed she keeps crying my nuna. HELP should I give in?
Pacifiers dont actually cause damage until after the age of 5 so I've heard. She will let it go when she is ready but if its bothering you then when the last one pops make her put it into the bin and tell her what a big girl she is. I dont really see what the big deal is with kids and dummys before 4yrs of age. If it comforts them I say let them have it at night time only.
