You've got an A... in college, that's a 4.00... quit whining...
Dear friend,
Try doing some extra-credit, too. Otherwise, I'd either have a confrence or talk to her after class. Best of luck!

bribe the teacher?
I would suggest, show your presence to the teacher. As in ask more questions in class, discuss lessons offline and show more participation in the class. This would make you more present, more agile and hence more receptive and favorable.
thanks for the advice guys, but I forgot to mention that my teacher is a complete and total b*** that I hate and she hates me and I actually probably participate a little too much in her class!!!
get a fellow classmate who is also getting an A- (or lower) and on her good side what she/he has to do in her class, to get an A, then follow suite. If you think she's purposely marking you lower than what your effort/achievement should be, speak to her supervisor.
Oh I had a couple of classes like this! I wish you luck!
yeah I know not exactly helpful but sometimes there are somethings that just wont happen, an A- really isnt the end of the world... atleast you know you tried your best...
have you tried talking to the prof about what you could do to raise your grade even diff studying techniques... I know it kinda burns to ask someone you cant stand, but hey... you gotta do what you gotta do...
and captainassassin an A- isnt a 4.0...
***and captainassassin an A- isnt a 4.0... ***
It is... depending on your college. Many just use solid letter grades: A, B, C, D, F... with no plusses or minuses.
Lol, ok you make a good point, however, she did use a minus...
...and she's not in college either. What's your point?

How to can I get A's in my civics class? The way my teacher grades, you must go above and beyond to get an A in her class. I really try and study hard in her class, but I always fall short with an A-!! Don't get me wrong, that's a very good grade, but I just get so frustrated when I always get so close, but never get there!! Are there any tips or pieces of advice?
