How to build a decorative retaining wall.

We want to build a retaing wall out of river rock in our back yard. How can we go about building this thing?

My husband lived up North and his family used to make a lot of these. I asked him and he said all you have to do is to stack the river rock. If you find the right stones you won't need cement or nothing just the stone.
