How soon is too soon for sex in a relationship?

I've been with my guy for almost 3 years and we hvent had sex. We're both 17 and he's the guy I want to lose it to. And likewise for him.[[we both are virgins]] I'm just worried that after we have sex then he'll lose interest. I know I shouldn't worry...

because we are in a real stable relationship, but I just don't want having sex to ruin things. Yet I dont want the fact of not having sex to ruin things either you get what I'm saying?? Its like I feel if we do it then he'll get bored and not want to be with me after we do it a few times or if we don't have sex I feel like he'll still get bored and go find someone else to get it from you know?? Help what do you think??

I think you're being a little paranoid. If he's able to stay with you for three years, then I really think sex will bring you guys closer together.

Have it when you are both ready. If he leaves you because he gets bored of it, then he obviously wasn't in it for the right reasons. Me and my boyfriend have had sex probably over 500 times and we are still doing great. Talk to him about this, see what he has to say.

Why do you think that after sex he'll lose interest? If both of yall are virgins then if you choose to have sex it will be like a new chapter in the relationship. I don't think that he leave you, in fact I think sex will bring you and him even closer (trust me he won't be bored).
