How should i tell my parents that i want to become a singer?

How should i tell my parents that I want to become a singer and that i already have 3 SONGZ! writen down without embarressing my self infrount of them?

hi,I myself have been in your situation,and I know it's hard to tell someone you care about your dream in a way that they will understand how much it means to you.I'm not gonna lie,its going to be hard to tell them and its going to be really hard to tell them if they dont believe in it or have strong dreams of their own of what they want you to be.Trust me this is a good thing masked in a hard decision,because you are going to have alot of people(more than you would ever think)that wont support your dream and the more you do it the easier it will get.I am constantley told that i wont make it for this or that reason from family and friends,but it has made me very tolerant to criticizim.I luckily have made huge steps in my work towards being a listened to singer,and you can to but the first thing you have to do is tell them and I mean tell them from your heart and soul.Just don't ever back down or give up because someone else doesn't aprove of your dream.Just start writing down your innermost feelings towards it and give it to them,the best way to help them understand is to tell them with the passion you have inside your heart and soul. I've been in your situation and I have written many songs also. When I was in 1st year or 2nd year highschool, I can't rememeber, I wrote a graduation song for the seniors and it became their official song and was put in the yearbook. I still wrtie songs. It's the best way for me to express myself. I do it with the help of my keyboards

I told my parents about my dream and my mom was really supportive until now and told me to finish my studies first because it will be my fallback in case my singing career won't be successful. I think she's right about it.

Just go tell your parents. Talk to them privately and nicely about what you want to do in life. Explain to them how much you want it. If they think it's funny, look at them and let them feel that you aren't joking and that you are serious. Do it! Good luck.
