How should I feel when my boyfriend doesn't get jealous?

I know it might be a good thing when your boyfriend doesn’t get jealous cause it means he trusts you, right? But what if that’s not the issue? How do you know it’s because he doesn’t care? Once I had lunch with a guy friend who he really hates and when I tell him about it, he says “okay, I’m fine with it.” I should probably appreciate that he’s not “clingy,” but it also makes me think he doesn’t care. Help?

I think it really depends on the tone of voice—you could always ask him. My boyfriend is never jealous of me when I talk with other guys because he trusts me implicitly, and I can hear in his voice he means this trust. It really depends on how close you two are, and how committed he is. Ask him though…”Do you trust me with other guys?” Moments of truth are really good for relationships.
