I heard somewhere the oldest person that has lived (she is no longer alive) lived until 122 years of age, but I don't have much evidence of that. Maybe look it up a a world records book or something?

The bible clearly states that we cannot live to be older than 120 years now but before Jesus came to the earth Methusala lived to be the oldest person.

I don't understand how you say we can't live longer than 120 years old. Jeanne Calmente, who's age is fully verified and documented lived 122 years and 164 days.

I would have to say that the oldest person ever to live on Earth was about 300 million years old. It's hard to say how old the oldest person ever lived. The Earth is 4.54 billion years old, and it perpetually recreated, so in actuality it has no beginning. In Satya Yuga the average life expectancy was 100,000 years. In Treta Yuga this life expectancy dropped to about 10,000 years. In Dvapara Yuga this life expectancy dropped even lower to 1,000 years and in the beginning of Kali Yuga this life expectancy dropped extremely low to a mere 100 years. We are now 5,110 years into Kali Yuga and our life expectancy is only 77 years. The life expectancy becomes lower and lower throughout Kali Yuga. People gradually begin living shorter lives. At the end of Kali Yuga about 426,890 years from now people will only live for 20 years on average. Slowly the life expectancy will drop. In the beginning of Kali Yuga people lived for 100 years on average and now 5,110 years later they only live for 77 years. This life expectancy will continue to drop for 426,890 years when people only live for 20 years on average. After this the next Satya Yuga will begin and people will live for 100,000 years on average. This will happen in about 426,890 years. It is hard to say what is the longest lifespan ever to have been lived on Earth, but some sages in Sages in Satya Yuga have had lifespans that were 300 million years long.

I am the oldest living person on earth. I will be 172 years old next friday.
this is nothing to celebrate as all my best friends and lovers have gone.
I still have some family but I fear I am a burden to them even though I am computer literate and have full controle of my bladder. I am however extreamly ugly. this has less to do with my incredible age as it does my incredibe nose.

Everyone understand the bible clearly states that no one can live over 120 years of age so look it up and weap everyone who states to know a person or herd of one that is over 120 years of age is lying! so if you dont beleive me LOOK IT UP!

Answered by jkj1244 on Jan 30, 2009, 02:47PM

um... no I'm not going to look it up. My great grandmother is actually 121 right now. So you can't tell me that it's not right. I am related to her!! I am deeply religious, but the bible is not alwyas right, because the bible wasn't written by god. It was written by Jesus' followers. The bible also says it's okay to stone women to death if they ever cheat on a man, but you know that's wrong! So HAAA the bible is not always right. And yes, I belive in god, I'm catholic, and I'm deeply religious.

I personally believe what the Bible says about no one living longer than 120 because if it wasn;t so there would be at least a million 120+ year old persons roaming the Earth but unfortunately there aren't. I believe that Humans make mistakes with records and documents all the time so that might explain why some people may think they are older than they really are. The truth is no one else is around to verify those mishaps in the ssupposedly 120+ aged humans records. Please remember that the penalties for certain sins in the Bible are outdated Today because Jesus died for our sins He paid it all so we don't have to be stoned to death or brutalized for our wrong doings as Human beings today So please do your research and have a little more Faith and believe and not try to go against God's word of advice for us . P.S. everyone Knows that God is always capital show respect and believe and you too may live eternally!!!

most things the bible says are untrue. A french women lived to 122.5 years and knew vincent van gogh. The bible was probably written by some deranged lunatic not unlike the people who quote it at every oppurtunity.
