Hey what if your 12 and about to turn 13 can you get a credit card

No you can not. No credit card company will approve you, your not even old enogh to work yet. How would you pay off the credit card?

At that age especially, you should avoid a credit card even if you could get one, at ALL costs !! - get financially stable first, then no more than one (mainly for emergencies).

uhh...no. In most places you have to be 18. You're not even old enough to work to pay for one, plus you probably have no credit. The only way you'll probably be able to get a credit card is if your parents got one in their name and gave it to you.

Check at your bank or your parents bank about getting a secured credit card. If you can put $200 or more into a CD (Certificate of Deposit), then they hang onto it (like a savings acct) and it's a back up so that the bank knows they are getting the money back. You will be allowed as much credit as you give them to hold. You'll also get interest. You might be able to get one of those, or a debit card. I don't know why you'd want so much responsibility at your age. Sometimes the mature thing to do, is use caution, but, good luck.
