How many people have you met in person from online?

For me it's been dozens, probably 50-100. The main reason? Conferences I used to participate heavily in a business oriented forum and then they started some conferences and as part of my job I went to a few of them. It was always odd, and I found I had a very disjointed guess of what people looked like from their writing style, mannerisms, etc.

The funny feedback I got from people was they expected me to be taller, as I'm 5'6", and people for some reason guessed I was bigger.

How about you? Have you met people in real life from online before?

none... really new to the whole internet thing, but I guess I watch to much dr. phil its hard to trust people like when people chat and then meet in person I think that is silly.

yeah I have... three people... One was a nice chick and we became best friends for like two months (she moved to another state because her boyfriend wasn't treating her good and he was her purpose for coming to our state) friend number two wasn't that good (she lived too far out and we couldn't find time to hang out) and friend number three, well we've been together now for 2years...

I've met a few, I'm more heavy than I appear in my photos. I guess I photograph thin! LOL

BUT I did have a dream a while ago that you threw a huge funadvice party at your house, and every person on this site was invited. THEN I remember me, "tenacioustori" and "superfresh," who are my best friends in real life, were just hanging out on a couch and we weren't participating in any of the party games.. so you kicked us out. lol.

that's obviously a sign that I've spent too much time on funadvice.. :]

nope...I would never..not unless I knew someone that knew them in person!!!...theres this person on another website I'm on and I messaged them once yesterday and now theyve sent me about ten messages since last nite :O...kinda creepy...so that puts me off

lol hundreds... No not for online dating. Im in homeschooling and I have live classes with all students and teachers.
