How many championship belts are there in WWE? I only counted three, but I don't watch the show. My boyfriend does, but I want to impress him.

Technically there is only one championship belt and it is only recently become the WWE championship belt as opposed to the former WWF championship belt.

There are 8 Championship belts in total.
ECW Champion, Intercontinental Champion, United States champion, Womens Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, World TagTeam Champion, WWE Chyampion and WWE TagTeam Champion.
