How does a dog lose weight?

What sort of diets are available for dogs who are getting too pudgy in the midsection? My love handles have become full on fat. Is there a way to lose the weight without the exercise? I can't move too well.

This is an easy one. Eat less dog. No treats or extras and lower your food intake. You should still exercise even without the legs ( I read your other stuff).
