How do you get people to add you?

Hey guys im sota new to the site and I woundering how you get people to add you? is this the kind of site where you need to know the people in real world or is there another way?

nahh, you probably won't find anyone you really know on here(: just add people be friendly and talk to them. once you meet a few people, people will start adding you.

Yup, just add people... answering lots of questions also helps, send people funmails, post comments on their walls, comment on their pictures (who doesnt love nice comments on their pictures?) it's really easy to make friends here! oh and you could always join a group, some groups have lots of members...

You can either add other people or just answer lots of questions, after a while people will start requesting to be your friend
