How do you convert a file that is saved in Windows Movie Maker to a Windows Media Player format???

If you open it with windows movie maker there should be a option under file called 'Save Movie File'

Perhaps there's alittle trick you're missing. First of all, in order to follow the other advice, it assumes you HAVE movie maker on a PC. If you do, then open the file in moviemaker. But there's a piece of this that's not as intuitive as you might think. You'll see the opened movie in the top section of moviemaker, but there aren't save as features here because it's actually still in preview mode. just drag the preview down into the Storyboard toward the bottom and THENyou can right click and save as it as a .wmv
