how do you cheer yourself up

how do you cheer yourself up? I’m quite often miserable and running out of ways to make myself happy please help

I meditate when im feeling down,it clears my mind and keeps it more positive,think thats why monks are so happy.happiness comes from within not so much with outside possesions,I could buy a car and get fed up with it in about a year,or I could say to myself im going to be happy when I find a partner and when I do they might treat me badly.I’ve learnt that happiness can only come from within myself I’ve got to make myself happy nobody else can do it for me,the one thing I think the whole world realy needs to be happy is love,there seems to be not much love on earth,I think thats the cause of everyones unhappiness including my own.but we have to love ourselves before we can love someone else thats when you realy heal yourself. soz if it all sounds strange lol

I listen to my favorite songs and try to dance to them. I also tell myself things will get better. Right now I’m depress and tonight I’m going to write in my Diary and write my stories. I smile at myself in the mirror and breeth. Deep breething really helps.
