How do i stop my friend from cutting?

One of my bestfriends is a girl and im a guy. I know she is cutting herself but I dont know how to deal with these kinds of things,

What should I do?

I think it's important to understand the reason why your friend is cutting It's important to tell this person if you think she is ready to hear this from you that you are concerned and would like to understand her and help her and that you will not JUDGE her. Cutting is a form of pain they might express their anger through this method as well. Not every cutter is the same and when they are angry it releases the anger however it's mainly caused by deep pain. It's much easier for a cutter to cut because to them they can visibly see the blood and release their pain. The more you bring up the issue of her cutting the more she will hide her scars and simply disappear from any social scene.
It's important to research in your area what is available to help her out. Counselling is very helpful and depending on the age there are hot lines to talk if she isn't ready. A person who cut's needs to trust a person and that isn't always easy but there is help for her.

First I think you should talk to her,
if that dosent work..
talk to her parents.
she might not be very happy with u
but you could be saving her life!
Shee needs help... not being mean
thats not a joking matter!

Ask her to stop.Find out why she cut herself.Try hard to solve her problems.Look after her all the time.If not,ask some of your friends to help too.Good Luck! ^^

talk to her and let her know that your there for her. And that you can be there when ever she needs you at anytime.So just talk to herabout her cutting.
