How do I stop being shy?

every night or morning make a goal like today ill talk to 4 boys and 4 girls that im not friends with or like ill say I like bla bla’s shirt toady. thats how I overcame my shyness

just talk what they talk about! some times talkative people like shy people because they listen and can talk away. show your self and find your right group

ok this is what you do and believe me it works

1. talk to the person who you feel is your closest friend and nobody else do it for a week or so

2. talk to two of your next friends that you have the most in common along with the person in #1 on second week

3 keep on doing this until you are not shy anymore. but not so you are talking to more than 4 new people a week

WARNING: This is important DO NOT try to be social with people you dont know well or who are not very close to you. also dont try socializing with people who you definetly know who you dont want to be friends with. let me know how things go

you’ve got to remember that they are the same as you. I used to think that other ‘cooler’ people had more sophisticated senses of humor so I would refrain from making jokes around them for fear of being laughed at. but over time I found that their sense of humor was around the same level if not less, of sophistication of mine. and when you know that your on the same level with someone you can talk more confidently and freely.

just remember noone else is better that you.
