How do i make my computer turn off at the same time every night?

My computer is constantly running and I am scared of losing a lot of the pictures and letters. I am too cheap to buy a cd burner and I am too broke to buy anything else. If I am running Windows XP home and I want to turn off the computer automatically...

There are a few free backup services out there. A good one is Xdrive:

Erm... Unless your computer shuts off randomly and without notice, You dont need a backup program. Your stuff should be fine in that case.

but there's a great program I use.

It's called PC Auto Shutdown. It's small and you can set a timer so it automatically shuts down your computer every night for you.
