There are several ways.
The two I use are nocd cracks. Problem with them is that you have to find and download one for each game. And if you reinstall the game you will probably have to reinstall the nocd crack. Also some gaming sites/servers do not let you use nocd cracks, if they can help it.
The other is to download PowerISO and get the full version (there are ways to get it free AHEM). Install it. Then, all the games you want, burn onto hard drive as an ISO format cd image (using PowerISO) and you then can make Virtual cd drives and mount an image to them. You can have up to 8 images. Downside is finding full version (funmail me for this) and takes ages to burn an ISO file and takes up a lot of space (A dvd can be up to 9.4GB if it is dual-layered. Thats a lot of space used up by 8 images.
Try doing The first thing first, using PowerISO as a backup solution.
PowerISO is very handy tool indeed. Can also rip/burn dvds.
The easier solution would be to use a NO-DVD crack, these are technically not illegal and you are well in your right to use one, since you own an original, legal copy of the game. This saves loads of hard disk space (since one game would take up about ten gigabytes (4+GB for the image and 4+GB for the installed version)), you just have to have some anti-spyware and anti-virus running (which you probably already do), because some cracks are hosted on dodgy websites. Hope this helps!

How do i image games onto my hard drive
I would like to put a copy of my game disks onto my hard drive so that I wouldn't have to keep pulling out my game disk to play the game. Is there a way to do this, preferably with a free program? I have heard there is, but how?
I run Windows XP on an...
AMD Semprom 3100+ computer with 1.5 GB RAM, and 160 GB HDD.
Thanks in advance.
