How do I convince my dad to let me get a lipring?

how can I get my dad to let me get a lip ring ???? I REALLYY want one , but he say's no , I reallllllyy badly want this, but he thinks ill just want it for a bit then I'll get over it , but I no I wont ,, can anyone help me on convincing him ????

Sounds like he loves, cares, and is looking out for your best interests (you're lucky !)....not to mention, obviously he knows you well....this will pass, just wait till you're of age and see if you feel the same.

I think you should wait until you're 18. No harm in that, you'll still be young enough to pull it off. Your dad's mind is made up. You must respect that.
