Well, I believe the TV show was looking for twins to play Zack and Cody, and they auditioned for the part and were chosen. Being seen on the TV show has made them famous.

they were babies adam sandler wanted cole but dylan was the replacement when cole was sick or sumthin and then they got into the movies
