How can I raise 1,000 pound ($2,000) by wednesday?

I'm trying loans/credit cards, but no sucsess so far.

geriann please don't act like that - I know times can sometimes be hard. Don't result to drastic decisions like that, it is totally the wrong approach to this kind of situation.
Everything will be ok in the end - I know that's hard to believe but if it's not ok then its not the end.

Do you have any friends or family that you could possibly borrow bits from? Have you got anything of value to sell to chip in to it?
Otherwise I don't know what to suggest if you can't find a way of getting a loan or a credit card.

Geriann, I'm not sure how you've managed to get yourself in your current financial hole, but if you really think you cannot raise the money in time, then perhaps you might want to consider filing for Bankruptcy - basically saying you are unable to pay your debts. You will end up with a real bad credit rating for a number of years, and the Government will take control of your finances for a while, but it will mean you don't have to pay any debts because you are unable to do so. As awful as it may be to file for it, surely it has to be a better alternative than working the streets.
