How can I get rid of a "white tongue"?
Hi guys, I know I sound a lil funny but I have white stuff on my tongue. Everyone has it I guess, but its bothering me so much, I have so much!! How can I get rid of it??? (I m 13 btw) THX
White tongue can be a list of things.
Typically this is caused by poor oral hygienge. You need to be brushing 3x a day and atleast flossing 1x a day.
White tongue can be casued by dehydration so make sure you are drinking many fluids (water) throughout the day.
If you recently were on antibiotics, have dibetes or take an oral inhalant (asthma) it can cause thrush which is a yeast infection on your tongue. You need to go to a doctors to get prescribed medicine to fix that.
I know you ronly 13 but if you are using tobacco products it can be caused by that. It could be leukoplakia which can be a precursor to cancer. Typically this is seen in smokers/tobacoo users and goes away when the quit.
Patches, stripes or lacy patterns on the tongue are another story. These should be evaluated by a doctor to rule out the above-mentioned conditions as it can be aprecursor symptom to a bigger issue.
I think it’s plague.Brush their really good.Maybe even use mouthwash.Good Luck!
you might be using to much alcoholic types of mouth wash, or you simple don’t brush your tongue when you brush your teeth.
I get that sometimes when im ill or after I’ve been ill . maybe your just coming down with something? Xo:)
When you brush your teeth brush your tongue as well… It’ll go away. Your tongue collects bacteria as well as your teeth and is a major contributing factor in bad breath.
o.o uhh im 13 too about to be 14 on the 20th :\ hmm I have abolutly no idea what it is lol I just looked in the mirror to see if I had it too xP I think I might of had it before but I don’t know? I think something like that happens to me when I wake up sometimes :\ maybe your tough is dry er something uhm maybe try drinking water or something and it might go away?
