Hi,
That's not a big difference. You only need 9 MB of RAM...I'd suggest you just try to free up some of the RAM you have instead of buying more RAM. It's not necessary. Try these steps to free up memory.
* lose any unnecessary applications; this includes any multimedia software (I.e. screensavers/wallpapers) and virus software (but ONLY if you don't intend to go online while playing the game).
* Defrag your hard drive. This can rearrange your programs so they are easier to access.
* Clean up any unneeded temporary Internet files or cookies. These take up a lot of space and can sometimes bog your system down.
After this has been done, select Start > Settings > Control Panel. From the control panel double click the System icon and select the Performance tab. This tab tells you how much memory your PC has and how much free memory you have available.

How can I get more memory so I can play sims 2?
recently, my sims 2 game stopped playing when I got to the screen that was loading the house and if it got past that, it wouldnt un-pause so I could play the game. I asked about this on the forums and as it turns out, I dont have enough memory (I already knew that but wanted to make sure) so my question is..how do I get more memory for my computer? all I want to do is get memory so I can play sims 2 again! thanks =] (my system memory is 247.7, and I need 256.0 to run the sims 2)
