How can I get a loan with bad credit?

Student loans have trashed my credit rating. If my credit is real bad how can I get a loan to buy a car or a house? I know that people do it. I know the easy answer to this is to fix my credit, but is there any other way?

Fixing your credit is the hard answer and it takes years. Start with a steady job. Join a credit union (they are easier to get a small loan from).

Get a cosigner with excellent credit?

I say start buying small things on bad credit, pay them off. If you buy a car or house with bad credit the interest will be ridiculous.
