I have at least two years left for my degree, but I am also going back to school after serving time in the military and being on the job market for almost 10 years. So here's some life advice as well as career advice.

In the end I am sure almost every one of the VPs at my company has an MBA. If you desire to be in upper management you are probably going to need it. You have picked a field that will have demand in this age. Believe me I live in Washington. Seattle is powered by Microsoft. Since you will most likely be able to work in your field of study I would suggest some higher level courses in that. I don't often advise specializing, but with computers you can get a job with a general degree and the specializations will help you move into the direction you want to go. Maybe that direction is in management or HR.

In summary, find a job perferably in your degree field, and then see what you want to do from there. If you want to be a higher level programmer then, well, you know what to do.
