whats a good song that tells about changing, or a song about how bad things are?

This doesn't really answer the question, But if you look up After Forever - Equally Destructive On youtube and watch the first video, Which is fan made. I hope it gives you some inspiration as It gives me goosebumps everytime I watch it. I love After Forever. Good Luck!
