How to get to task manager on vista home premium?

I got Windows Vista Home Premium and I have a virus which diables my anti-virus (McAfee). I had a similar virus once on my XP machine and I managed to close it using task manager and then delete it using McAfee.
Please help. Does anyone know how to get...

onto task manager on Home Premium. Thank you.

download AVAST it is free and it will fix your problem happy

Thanks bipo and qwerty but neither of them worked.
I downloaded and installed AVAST and it found 1 virus but my laptop is still really slow and McAfee still doesn't work.
Oh and ctrl, alt, delete doesn't work either as the only options are:Lock this computer
Switch user
Log off
and Change password
