First of all, if your Modem plug-into PCI slots you should install first the driver of the modem so that the computer will detect the modem and be recognized by the router. Be sure to use the right color code standard of your cable!(what type of cable you used? UTP, FIBER OPTIC etc.) I am new with networking but I really don't know if playstation can work with networking, PC TO PLAYSTATION.

router doesn't recognize my Motorola modem. What am I doing wrong? I'm absolutely positive that everything is physically connected together properly. The only thing I can think of is that there must be a setting in either the modem or my computer that needs to be changed.
