I wouldn't bother telling them unless they really force the issue. It's easy for people who don't know you to advise, "yeah tell them, and if they don't accept it, just don't be friends with them anymore" when these people don't have to live with the social consequences. If they are really your good friends and you enjoy their company, just don't bring it up with them.

Just tell them you don't think Christianity is the religion for you, you don't need to tell them why - thats your business.

Just be straight with them, if they shun you for it, then don't be friends with them.

You will have a little more integrity with them if you can spell it

Pagan.

Just tell them straight up. If any of them are fundamentalist Christians, you're probably going to lose their friendship. If not, they probably won't care much.

Forgive me if I sound rather shrued or anything,
just tell them straight up, don't beat around the bush or anything,
if they are truly your friend they will accept you for who YOU are.
You never know, some of them might be practitioners theirseilves & never told you 1_~

This is not true.

Any fundamentalist Christian will accept you and love you, but the person who claims to be a Christian but doesn't live it will freak out and dump you or just ignore you.

How about downloading this book, and podcast, and rethinking this situation:

Love Jesus, Hate church

However, if you truly are against what the bible teaches, then, this will be of no help.

being a Christian isn't all about going to church, and church really depends on what sort of preacher you have. so don't let church alter your faith.

I somehow don't believe that you're actually pagan because you believe in it. :/ a lot of people go that direction cause it seems 'cool'. but anyway, you should probably read up on paganism before devoting yourself to it. and totally learn how to actually SPELL pagan. ahem. P A G A N.

and if your friends are truly good friends, who like you for you, then they'll understand and accept you. if not, then they're not real friends, and you shouldn't feel bad.

*** "Any fundamentalist Christian will accept you and love you, "

...am I to understand you are intimately familiar with all fundamentalist Christians then?
