Is there something wrong with my dog?

ok my dog is probly around 3 years old, he is a (mut) black golden retriver mixed with something else that I cant think of ...but he as been actin really strange and he is scarin me! He doesnt listenin anymore...he will sleep in my bed longer then he...

usually does! And last night he sat there on my bed and stared above me like if he was protectin me...but I don't know what he could be protectin me from! I love my dog to death but I don't know what could be wrong with him, do you? is it my dog or is something wrong with me!??

Check him and make sure that he didnt get bit by another animal.
HAs he been in a fight with another dog?
THat could really change his behavior.

Is he up to date on shots, etc?
You need to take him to the vet apparently,
Ever heard of the saying,
Better safe than sorry.?

There could be numerous reasons for this.
He could be slowing down due to aging,
like the post above me says he could have been bit, or he could be seriously ill!

You never know, so PLEASE don't wait this out.

It's that time of year for annual checkups, anyway...take him into the vet...and get him a wellness check...even if he's just fine...it'll be a great relief for you...

Could something be going on with his hearing? If he doesn't listen and he sleeps in maybe he's not really hearing anything. He's a little young for that but our old dog we had lost most of his hearing and you could stand right over him and he would just keep sleeping because he didn't know you were there.

Vet Check for sure to make sure your dog is not sick. Could be so many things. Sounds scary to me

Mabey there's something suspicious that was going on and your dog sensed it?
