Help me trace a private number.

how do you trace a block call that calls you.Some one constantly keep playing on my phone private they wont say nothing and this happens all night and day it is very much anoying if you no any way I can trace that private number please let me no.THANK...

If it's persistent you can call the police, (the non-emergency number) and they should be able to trace where the #s coming from. Unless it's not blocked, you're not going to be able to find out...Good luck stopping the nuisance!

that happened to me for ages so I had to call police who then the phone company who got call tracing,

how that works, everytime they pranked me I had to write down the exact time date etc then at the end of each week give it to the police phone company they traced all the calls after 3 calls from the same number that rang me is a trace!!!

then they go from there!! my pranker got charged!!

Hey! In most cities, all of the capabilitiles of the local telephone service are listed somewhere near the front of the phone book. Normally private calls/ number blocked calls can not be traced with these nor with *69.
If it is persistent, you can have the telephone service (alltel, verizon, etc) trace calls for u. Or as listed above, it anyone threatens you or begins making obscene calls--of course then the police dept should be informed.

 
It might cost you a buck or two per month, but have the phone company block all calls that don't show their ID. You can find out from the phone book or phone company what the * number is that any of your friends who have their ID blocked can use to let you see their ID so that their calls will go through.
