I am an athiest and a good person. people are so scared of the thought of others not being relgious but I am a good person because I want to be not because my eternity has been threated into it. I treat people how I want to be treated. I have had people hate on me before because of it but they are the real evil ones. I think religion teaches hate and I personally want nothing to do with it. You parents can't tell you what to believe your whole life make up your own mind about what you believe and stand up for it. Its your right as an american

As you get older you start to realize more about what you believe and such. They should understand and accept what you want to believe. Stand up for yourself. You have the right to believe in what you want. They are wrong for pressuring you.

You are entering a time in your life where people normally start to break away from many of the things their parents taught them. It can be very difficult for everyone even if it's not about religion.

Definitely explore everything and learn all you can. Remind your family and friends that you are the same person as you always were - you're just searching. Most likely they will come to understand.

Just lie to them until you move out. Sadly, that's the best approach when your idea differ from your family's.
