hey. it seems like a really hard thing to do to tell someone, i know, ive been there. i still cut, i have been for ages, but telling someone does help. ive told one person, and one found out by accident, but theyve both been so great about it. my best (guy) mate was the one i told coz he is someone i know i can trust and i dont trust many people. the other person found out by himself and that was my boyfriend. hes been so supportive and hes definitly helped me cut down. i have a terrible habit of scratching my wrist if i want to cut and i cant, even if its in front of people. my boyfriend noticed a few days ago (oops!) and now he keeps an eye on me, holds my wrist or my hands and talks to me until i stop. i do other stuff, i burn myself as well when things get really bad and its awful to have to depend on pain to get you through rough patches. theyve both gone to the extent of telling me that im not allowed to do it without talking to them, even if its the middle of an exam at school or the middle of the night. if you can find someone that will understand you, someone you can always talk to, try and tell them, it makes an unbelievable difference. if you cant manage to just tell them try letting them see. it sounds awful and sneaky but if you are alone with them or out of sight of others its simpler than words. telling them(make sure that its securly!!!) over the net or txt msg or phone can help too if its too hard face to face! sorry theres so much writing…hope it helps! feel free to msg me if you need to talk :) even if everyone says it i mean it! good luck!

if you can’t talk to your mum, talk to your doctor or someone you can trust… you need help now… cutting is not a solution, there are people out there to help you, please try and get help AND TALK TO SOMEONE AWAY FROM THE COMP. whatever problems you have you can sort them out, cutting yourself will not sort them for you, please get some help.

You REALLY need to talk to your mom, a health care professional or other. Now. Not later. Now. Get off the computer, and talk to somebody, in real life, about this problem.
